Очень интересная британская группа, которой чего-то всегда не хватало, чтобы выйти на большую сцену. Нет, там она конечно же была. Например, на разогреве у Oasis. Но всеобъемлющей популярности группа так и не добилась. А может ей этого и не надо было?
Зато Beta Band держалась своей линии, и за это им огромное спасибо. И, кстати, эта одна из немногих групп, которая работала в жанре фольктроника – смесь фолка, электронной музыки, рока и трип-хопа.
А сегодняшняя песня "Dry the Rain" (из первого миниальбома "Champion Versions" 1997 года), считается самой известной песней этого коллектива. И действительно замечательная песня, почти шедевр. Почти...
